Well, this was totally unexpected: Monica Bellucci is shooting some episodes for Platane, and here is the very first still from the production!
“Platane” is a French twelve 30-minutes episodes TV serie, produced by Eric Judor and Canal+. It will be out in 2011 – an official date for release is unknown. According to sources, Monica’s husband Vincent Cassel should be in too.
We still don’t know if Monica Bellucci will play herself or a character, but in the meantime here is the plot, taken by Canal+ website:

Right after coming out of a coma, Eric, still shocked, has a revelation: he’s going to test himself in author movies and show the world he can make a serious, profound, moving film. Despite general skepticism, he decides to write a sequel for ‘la mome’: ‘la mome 2.0 next generation’. Surrounded by a crew whose professionality is yet to be proven, constantly rejected by the woman he tries to conquer… will eric find the strength to bring on the ambitious project that could change forever the face of the french movie industry?

She surely looks sultry and gorgeous – can’t wait to see more!
