Abbiamo alcune news interessanti riguardo al nuovo progetto di Monica Bellucci, le cui riprese inizieranno a settembre. Il film sarà infatti tratto dal romanzo di Gaetano Savatteri, ”Uno per tutti” (che è anche il titolo provvisorio del film). Secondo alcune notizie risalenti a giugno, inoltre, l’attore Ennio Fantastichini è stato già scritturato nella parte di uno dei tre amici. Ecco la trama del romanzo, dal sito di Italica:

[...] la storia di un gruppo di giovani che vivono nella periferia di Milano durante gli ultimi anni del boom economico, delle loro avventure picaresche, come i ragazzi di via Pàl, e di come hanno conquistato il mondo – le loro passeggiate in bicicletta, calcio partite a l’oratorio, figurine Panini, bibite gassate, i loro scontri con bande rivali, la loro spensierata curiosità per la morte, primi amori e di amicizia. Soprattutto l’amicizia, con tutte le sue cerimonie (il consiglio di guerra, “una cosa seria, non si può ridere o agire come uno sciocco”), le promesse e le prove. Quei ragazzi sono cresciuti, ora sono sulla quarantina, alcuni sono sposati, altri sono separati, alcuni hanno bambini. La vita non è più una sfida: è più di una minaccia. Hanno preso strade diverse: Vinz è un poliziotto, Gil è un criminale. Giò, che è il narratore in prima persona, è uno scrittore. Non si sono  incontrati né sentiti per decenni, Giò si trasferì a Sicilia anni indietro, poiché i suoi genitori volevano tornare lì. Una lettera intensa di Gil, il fondatore e leader del loro gruppo, lo riporta a Milano: “Ora sono io che ho bisogno di te”. Seguito da loro motto: “Tutti per uno e uno per tutti” – una promessa di fedeltà da lungo superato. Doveva mantenere quella promessa? E naturalmente c’è di più: fin dall’inizio si intuisce che il legame tra i personaggi si basa su qualcosa di molto più importante, un evento che non si può dimenticare, che ha lasciato il segno, che ha bruscamente interrotto la loro età dell’innocenza. [...]

We have some interesting news about Monica Bellucci’s next project, whose filming  is starting in September. It is based on a novel by Gaetano Savatteri, “Uno per tutti” (which is also going to be the movie’s title probably). According to some June news, Italian actor Ennio Fantastichini has already been cast as one of the men. Here is the novel’s plot, taken by Italica:

[...] tells the story of a group of youngsters living in the suburbs of Milan during the final years of the economic boom  – their bicycle rides, football matches at the oratory, Panini picture cards, their clashes with rival gangs, their carefree curiosity about death, first loves and friendship. Especially friendship, with all its ceremonies (the council of war, “something serious, you can’t laugh or act like a fool”), the promises and trials. Those teenagers have now grown up, now they’re in their forties, some are married, some are separated, some have children. Life is no longer a challenge: it is more of a threat. They have taken up different paths: Vinz is a police officer, Gil is a criminal. Giò, who is the first person narrator, is a writer.  They haven’t met or tried to get in touch with each other for decades; Giò moved to Sicily years back, since his parents wanted to return there. An intense letter from Gil, the founder and leader of their gang, brings him back to Milan: “I’m the one who needs you now”. Followed by their motto: “All for one and one for all” – a promise of loyalty from the long-gone past. Should he keep that promise? And of course there’s more: right from the beginning one can sense that the bond between the characters is based on something much more important, an event that they cannot forget, that has left its mark, that has brusquely interrupted their age of innocence [...].
