Let’s start with the Venice fever!
Monica Bellucci looked amazing today in Venice, promoting Philippe Garrel’s Un été brulant. She was really at her best tonight and we’re happy to share hundreds of pictures already. Keep an eye on this post in the next hours, we’ll be adding more and more interesting stuff!

Monica Bellucci will be in Venice in September to promote Philippe Garrel’s Un Ete Brulant – Venice Film Festival’s President Marco Muller has confirmed today in a press conference held at the Hotel Excelsior in Rome.
Among the other guests of the festival will be Madonna, Kate Winslet, Keira Knightley, David Cronenberg, Cristoph Waltz, Roman Polanski, Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender *and* Vincent Cassel, who will present Cronenberg’s A Dangerous Method.

Yesterday The Whistleblower was premiered in New York – Monica Bellucci did not attend the screening, but you can check out pictures of the gorgeous Rachel Weisz, Anna Anissimova, Kathy Bolkovac and director Larysa Kondracki at Amazing Rachel Weisz. The Whistleblower will be out on August 5, and it is already receaving some Oscar buzz!

Remember those rumors about Bellucci playing a part on famous Italian TV serie “R.I.S. – Delitti Imperfetti”? Back in November her rep denied the story, but five months later ASCA confirms it all: Monica Bellucci will be playing a small part in one episode. The episode will be airing on Italian TV in less than two months probably.

EDIT: According to sources, Monica is already done with her scenes: they were filmed today in Cinecittà. Monica Bellucci will play herself. Here is what ANSA agency has released today:

[...] “I accepted this role because of Pietro, since we have been friends for years, but also because “RIS” is an amazing show and the actors are great. When the TV is well done, there’s no difference between it and cinema to me. Plus, it is always nice to come back to Rome for one day.” , says Bellucci.

In here scene, Monica enters the RIS labs with her friend Bianca Proietti (played by Lucia Rossi) and realizes captain Girelli’s (played by Fabio Troiano) dream by meeting him. After a short visit to the labs, the actress kisses the captain goodbye and has a few pictures taken before leaving.

On the set, Bellucci has also talked about her next projects – she could play Oriana Fallaci in Andrzek Wajda‘s new movie: “It is not confirmed yet, but it is very likely, most of all because [Wajda] is a director I admire so much”. [...]

Ricordate quelle voci circa la partecipazione della Bellucci alla famosa serie televisiva “R.I.S. – Delitti Imperfetti”? Lo scorso novembre la sua portavoce negò la storia, ma cinque mesi dopo l’ASCA conferma: Monica Bellucci interpreterà un piccolo ruolo in un episodio. L’episodio in questione andrà in onda in meno di due mesi probabilmente.

EDIT: A quanto pare, stando ad alcune fonti Monica Bellucci avrebbe già girato le sue scene oggi allo studio 7 di Cinecittà. L’attrice interpreterà se stessa. Ecco quanto reso noto oggi dall’agenzia ANSA:

ROMA – Monica Bellucci, bellissima e in forma perfetta, poco prima delle 13.30, arriva a Cinecitta’ per girare la sua scena da star a sorpresa, in un cameo, nel ruolo di se stessa, che vedremo in una delle prossime puntate di ‘Ris Roma-Delitti imperfetti’, in onda martedi’ in prima serata su Canale 5. E’ all’improvviso, sul set arriva anche Checco Zalone, che non si aspettava un incontro ravvicinato con la diva. ”Aveva un appuntamento con Pietro Valsecchi (il produttore della serie e dei suo film, ndr), uno arriva sul set e si trova la Bellucci… so’ cose brutte”.

Elegante e sorridente, disponibile e gentile con tutti, indossa un tailleur pantalone gessato Dolce e Gabbana, camicia a righine azzurre, occhiali scuri: la Bellucci, che ha debuttato venti anni fa proprio in una fiction, ‘Vita coi figli’ di Dino Risi con Giancarlo Giannini, dopo essere scesa da una Mercedes nera, e’ entrata nello studio 8 al braccio di Valsecchi, che appare con lei nella scena, anche lui nel ruolo di se stesso.

”Ho accettato questa partecipazione per Pietro con cui siamo amici da anni, ma anche perche’ i Ris e’ una serie bellissima e loro sono bravi. Quando la tv e’ fatta bene non c’e’ differenza per me tra la televisione e il cinema. Poi e’ sempre bello tornare a Roma per una giornata – ha continuato l’attrice in una conversazione con l’ANSA prima di girare – sono qui con le mie bambine (Deva, 6 anni e Leonie, che compira’ il 20 maggio un anno, ndr), da cui non mi separo mai”.

Nella sequenza Monica entra nei laboratori del Ris, invitata dall’amica Bianca Proietti (Lucia Rossi, ndr), che nella serie aveva parlato dell’amicizia con l’attrice, e realizza, andandolo a conoscere, il sogno del capitano Girelli (Fabio Troiano, ndr), che ha un debole per lei. Dopo un breve giro per i laboratori, la star saluta il capitano con un bacio sulla guancia e si fa con tutti gli agenti una foto, scattata da Valsecchi, che viene a prenderla. La Bellucci sul set ha anche accennato ai suoi nuovi progetti, in particolare potrebbe recitare il ruolo di Oriana Fallaci nel film del premio oscar polacco Andrzej Wajda, sul leader di Solidarnosc, Lech Walesa: ”Non e’ ancora confermato, ma e’ molto probabile, anche perche’ e’ un regista che ammiro’‘.

L’attrice, inoltre, ha appena finito in Turchia le riprese di ‘Rhinos Season’ di Bahman Ghobadi, ambientato nell’Iran di oggi: ”E’ soprattutto una bellissima storia d’amore, ma si racconta anche la realta’ di quel Paese”. Monica, inoltre, anticipa che ‘Un ete’ brulant’ ”il film di Philippe Garrel, interpretato con il figlio Louis, potrebbe essere alla prossima Mostra del cinema di Venezia”. L’attrice apparira’ sempre nel ruolo di se stessa in ‘Platane’, una serie tv in onda a settembre, su un regista che cerca realizzare il suo film piu’ importante. A conclusione della visita a Cinecitta’ un commento di Valsecchi: ”Bellucci e’ un po’ il mio David di Donatello, visto che non me l’hanno dato per il film di Zalone”.
